Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange finished the mid-week trading session on a stronger note.
The price index rose 18.6 points or 0.32% to the mark of 5,564.73 points.
Likewise, the weighted index and Kuwait 15 ended higher 0.33 and 0.32%, respectively.
Five major sectors saw a rise led by the real estate sector (+1.36%) on Sokouk Holding that moved 7.7% up.
The financial sector went up 0.6% after Amwal advanced 14.3% to lead 18 rising stocks.
The industrial sector grew 0.27% as Maadan headed 10 stocks with a 7.94% increase.
On the flipside, four markets came in the red territory topped by oil and gas (-1.08%) and banks (-0.03%).
Turnover levelled up to KWD 17.21 million today from KWD 13.11 million on Monday, while volumes also increased to 182.99 million shares versus 153.16 million shares a day earlier.
