Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait’s stock market ended the last session in 2015 0.05% or 2.64 points lower to close at 5,615.12 points on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the weighted index lost 0.04% to close at 381.7 and Kuwait-15 index also dipped 0.21% to 900.43 points.
The price index has reached the lowest level in 11 years, said technical analyst Nawaf Al-Oun.
Today’s trading value slumped 45% to KWD 8.58 million as trading volume fell to 78.68 million shares.
The health care sector topped the gainers by adding 2.01%, while the telecom sector headed the decliners as it decreased 0.69%.
Al Ahleia Insurance was the top winner by a rise of 8.16%, while Al Massaleh Real Estate led the losers after declining 8.2%.
GFH was the most active stock as 11.34 million shares were exchanged.
Burgan Bank recorded the highest turnover of over KWD 2 million.
