Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the price index gained 0.23% or 16.49 points to reach 7,068.33 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.25% and 0.24%, respectively.
By 10:05am Kuwait time, the market’s turnover amounted to KWD 6.5 million after 53.8 million shares were exchanged through about 1,500 transactions.
The real estate segment led eight decliners with 0.47%, dragged by Mazaya which retreated by 4.62%.
Meanwhile, the industrial as well as the oil and gas sectors were the only gainers with a rise of 1.9% and 0.02%, respectively.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 6.25 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.2 million, reaching 188 fils.
