Mubasher: The Kuwaiti cabinet has cancelled all celebrations scheduled for the National and Liberation Day holidays until further notice.
The cabinet called upon all citizens to consider the efforts and steps the government is taking to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic and to protect public health, the cabinet recently stated on its official website.
The decision came on the sidelines of the cabinet’s weekly meeting held on Monday, 24 February.
Furthermore, the cabinet delegated a team chaired by the health minister to take all protective measures against the new coronavirus.
In the meantime, Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended all flights to and from Iraq, South Korea, Thailand, and Italy.
