Mubasher: Kuwait canceled a decision that requires travellers arriving from 10 countries to undergo PCR examination to show they are free of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
Given the unavailability of this test in some countries, the requirement imposed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation was suspended, according to a statement on Thursday.
The Kuwaiti government assigned the relevant authorities to come up with practical alternatives to ensure that travellers coming to the country are free of the new virus.
Earlier, the GCC nation announced that all passengers coming from the Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Georgia, and Lebanon should carry medical certificates indicating that they are coronavirus-free to be permitted into the country
