Kuwait confirms 10 new coronavirus cases; brings total to 56

Mubasher: Health officials in Kuwait said that the number of the coronavirus (COVID-19) cases continued to increase after 10 new cases have tested positive for the virus, bringing the coronavirus epidemic toll in the Gulf state to 56 so far.      

The new cases were amongst those who arrived from Iran last week, the health ministry said on its official Twitter page on Monday.      

The patients are in a stable medical condition and are currently receiving appropriate medical care, quarantined in a hospital designated to handle the novel virus cases.

It is noteworthy that the health ministry said that it will examine all individuals arriving from Egypt and Syria at their countries and Kuwait, in a bid to contain the outbreak of the new disease.
