Mubasher: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Wednesday reported three new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the total number to 12 in the country so far, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
The new cases were among those who arrived from Iran and were strictly quarantined.
All patients are in a stable condition and are receiving treatment in a hospital affiliated to the ministry and that is well-equipped to handle coronavirus cases.
Earlier this week, the Kuwaiti cabinet cancelled all celebrations scheduled for the National and Liberation Day holidays until further notice, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended all flights to and from Iraq, South Korea, Thailand, and Italy, in a bid to control the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
