Mubasher: The price of Kuwait's crude oil declined by 42 cents per barrel (pb) to settle at $16.99 on Monday, 20 April, compared to $17.41 pb on Friday, 17 April, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Globally, NYMEX crude oil futures for May fell to $-37.63 pb on Monday as traders are trying to sell these futures due to the lack of storage capacity and oversupply amid shrinking demand.
On Monday, Brent crude futures, the international benchmark, for June delivery dropped by 9% or $2.51 per barrel to stand at $25.57.
