Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil rose by 33 cents to settle at $52.74 per barrel (pb) on Wednesday, compared to $52.41 on Tuesday, according to the latest data issued by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
At the global level, the price of Brent crude oil fell by 37 cents to reach $55.86 pb, and Nymex crude oil levelled down by 29 cents to reach $53.11 pb.
Global oil prices decreased despite the recent announcement of US oil reserves which declined by 2.2 million barrels to reach 533.4 million barrels by the week ended on 7 April.
