Kuwait crude oil rises $1.07 Monday – KPC

Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil increased by $1.07 to settle at $57.05 per barrel (pb) on Monday compared to $55.98 pb on Friday, according to the latest data issued by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

At the global level, Nymex crude oil closed Monday with the highest level in eight months in line with a recent report issued regarding the current tension in the Middle East region.

The report noted the oil inflows from North Iraq to Turkey have stopped, a few days after the Iraqi government has regained control over this area.
