Kuwait crude oil rises 59 cents Monday – KPC

Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil rose by 59 cents to reach $54.53 per barrel (pb) on Monday compared to $53.94 pb on Friday, according to the latest data issued by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

At the global level, the rise in oil prices on Sunday was backed by positive data on the compliance with the reduction of oil output agreement.

The price of Nymex crude oil of December futures went up 0.1% to settle at $51.90 pb, while Brent crude oil long-term futures retreated 0.7% to $57.36 pb.
