Kuwait crude oil up 45 cents – KPC

Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil went up 45 cents to settle at $48.24 per barrel (pb) on Wednesday as compared to $47.79 on Tuesday, according to the latest data issued by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

At the global level, Brent crude oil, May delivery, increased 1.37% to reach $51.67 a barrel.

The growth in global oil prices followed the announcement of the decrease in US oil reserves by 237,000 during the past week.
