Kuwait – Mubasher: The budget deficit for Kuwait is expected to reach KWD 8 billion in the current fiscal year, according to the undersecretary of the finance ministry Khalifa Hamada.
The Central Bank of Kuwait will issue local bonds worth around KWD 1 billion, Hamada said.
Procedures are being carried out with the Public Investment Authority in Kuwait to offer KWD 3 billion in international markets before the end of 2016 to back the existing deficit, Hamada said according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
