Kuwait expects revenues to rise 400% by 2035 - Minister

Mubasher: The Kuwaiti minister of the state for the national assembly affairs said that the Kuwaiti development strategy until 2035 expects the country’s annual revenues to reach around KWD 50 billion every year.

The minister, Mohamed Al-abdellah added in a press conference on Monday that the developmental plan is based on seven pillars that includes an advanced infrastructure, a sustainable environment, and a diverse sustainable economy.

The plan also involves a new vision to attract new private-sector investments, support competition, and raise productivity.

According to the minister, Kuwait is expecting to increase its revenues by 400% by the year 2035, compared to the level of revenues which was announced in the new budget which totals KWD 13.3 billion.
