Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait has ranked the 71st globally and the 5th on the GCC level in the ‘Index of Economic Freedom for the year 2016’ report published by Canada-based Fraser Institute, according to Bayan Investment Company.
Kuwait had come in the 59th place on the global level in the report issued a year ago. Thus, the country has retreated 12 levels.
Bayan said that Kuwait being ranked at low levels in economic indices has become a regular matter in the past years.
It added that this condition is attributed to a number of failures which reflect the growing crisis in the fields of economy, administration, finance, education, and others.
