Mubasher: Total revenues collected by the end of the seventh month of the current fiscal year 2017/2018 in Kuwait amounted to nearly KWD 8.341 billion or about 62.5% of the total estimated revenues of KWD 13.344 billion for the entire current fiscal year, Al Shall Consulting said according to a report by Kuwait’s finance ministry.
Actual oil revenues until 31 October 2017 registered about KWD 7.532 billion or 64.3% of estimated oil revenues for the entire current fiscal year in the amount of KWD 11.711 billion, or about 90.3% of total collected revenues.
“An amount of KWD 808.432 million was collected from non-oil revenues during the same period, a monthly average at KWD 115.490 million, while the total estimated amount for the entire current fiscal year was about KWD 1.634 billion,” Al Shall added.
The country’s budget deficit is forecast to range from KWD 4.5 billion to KWD 5 billion when the final account of Kuwait is disclosed.
