Kuwait grants residence violators 3-month pardon

Mubasher: Kuwait’s government granted visitors a temporary three-month residence pardon, effective from 1 March to 31 May, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The decision covers those whose residence or visit visas expired during the aforementioned period, the General Directorate of Security Relations and Media said.

It is noteworthy that the move is in light of the prevailing exceptional circumstances in Kuwait regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19 ) pandemic and the suspension of all ministerial work and state agency work in the country until 26 April.

On Wednesday, Kuwait reported a total of 1,405 COVID-19 cases.
