Kuwait imposes partial curfew in face of COVID-19

Mubasher: Kuwait’s cabinet decided to impose a partial curfew across the country effective as of Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. local time, until further notice, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The new directive comes in an attempt to curb the widespread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic across the Gulf state.

“Regrettably, non-compliance with the Ministry of Health’s instructions to stay indoors forced the government to impose the curfew,” deputy premier and interior minister, Anas Al Saleh, recently stated in a news conference.
