Kuwait inflation rises in February – KFH

Mubasher: The inflation in Kuwait went up to 3.2% in February 2017 as compared to 3.1% in the same month of the prior year, according to a recent report issued by Kuwait Finance House (KFH).

The consumer price index (CPI) posted 144.3 points in February; the third month in which inflation exceeded the 144-point level.

On a monthly basis, Kuwait’s inflation edged up 0.1% in February 2017, the report said.

The overall value of the subsidies paid in February reached KWD 16.9 million.
