Mubasher: Kuwait invested around KWD 990 million in infrastructure projects in the northern region during the previous period, the Kuwaiti first deputy Prime minister and minister of defence said.
These investments involved building ports, railways, bridges, a three-lane way for vehicles, and an elevated highway bridge, Nasser Bin Sabah Al Ahmad told Al-Jarida newspaper.
The GCC nation pumped around KWD 865 million in the first phase of Mubarak Al Kabeer Port, and KWD 125 million to build a 23-kilometre railway.
