Kuwait – Mubasher: The money supply of Kuwait’s central bank edged down 0.8% in April 2017, compared to March, according to official data.
The money supply stood at KWD 36.4 billion in April this year, compared with KWD 36.7 billion in the previous month.
Meanwhile, the money supply levelled up 0.9% in April 2017 when compared to the same month a year ago.
Total assets grew 0.8% in April, on a monthly basis, to KWD 9.6 billion from KWD 9.5 billion, according to the central bank’s official data.
Credit facilities rose 4% to KWD 34.87 billion in April 2017 from KWD 33.53 billion in the same month a year ago.
