Mubasher: Total exports from Kuwait increased by 42.6% to KWD 13.4 million in January 2019 compared to KWD 9.4 million in the same month a year ago, according to a recent report by the commerce and industry ministry, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Kuwaiti exports to the GCC countries stood at KWD 1.9 million in January, while the country has exported a total of KWD 7.1 million to Arab states, including Iraq, Jordan, Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon, Yemen, Egypt, and Sudan.
More than ten countries have imported from Kuwait, with Egypt topping the list at a total of KWD 6.1 million worth Kuwaiti goods, 1000% higher when compared to the value in January 2018.
Saudi Arabia came in the third place of countries importing from Kuwait with a total of KWD 1 million, KUNA added.
