Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 81 cents on Friday, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Kuwaiti crude reached $60.35 per barrel, compared to $59.54 per barrel on Thursday, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Saturday.
The rise in Kuwaiti oil prices comes in line with the increases in global prices, as the number of oil rigs declined last week, as shown by the report issued on Friday by Baker Hughes, as well as due to the positive sentiment regarding extending the OPEC-led ouput curbs.
