Mubasher: Exports of Kuwait’s crude oil to Japan decreased by 2.3% in August compared to the same month a year ago, registering the lowest level in four months.
Kuwait’s oil exports to Japan reached 6.18 million barrels in August; an average of 199,000 barrels per day (bpd), according to a report issued by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy in Japan.
Japan’s total crude oil imports edged down 0.1% year-on-year in August to 3.21 million barrels.
Oil cargos from the Middle East accounted for 87.8% of Japan’s crude oil imports, up 3.1% from 2016.
