Kuwait – Mubasher: The price per barrel (pb) of Kuwaiti oil increased at the closing of Monday’s trades, adding 46 cents and ending at $49.73 pb compared to $49.27 pb on Friday, according to data released by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Globally, oil prices were down as stockpiles increased, after Libya resumed production after a few days’ halt from the country’s second largest oilfield.
Last week, the US reported a rise in its oil rigs by 10, its highest increase since September 2015, bringing the total to 662 rigs.
