Kuwait - Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went down 96 cents on Friday, and reached $39.30 per barrel (pb), after registering $40.26 pb the day before, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Saturday.
The price of oil increased in world markets due to statistics regarding the decrease in growth at the American job market as well as pressure on the US Dollar despite fears of an increase in oil production at the global scale, the Kwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Brent crude increased by $1.38 and reached $46.83 per barrel, while the West Texas Intermediate went up $1.20 to $44.44 pb.
