Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait’s crude oil price rose on Friday by 51 cents to $40.03 per barrel, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said on Wednesday.
Oil prices retreated on Tuesday after hopes vanished for reaching an agreement in the unofficial meeting of the OPEC in Algeria.
Meanwhile, price of the Brent Blend declined upon settlement by $1.38 to $45.97 pb. West Texas crude oil also dropped $1.29 to $44.67 pb, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
