Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti oil closed Wednesday’s trading session higher, adding $0.34 to $66.42 per barrel (pb), compared to $66.08 pb on Tuesday, according to data released by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Global oil prices rose for the third session in row on Wednesday after releasing a statement of the US crude oil stocks, while US crude (Nymex) ended the trading session at $65 pb, the highest level since December 2014.
The US crude oil inventories declined against expectations during the week ended on 19 January 2018, according to the statement.
