Kuwait oil rises $0.52

Mubasher: The price of Kuwait oil went up 52 cents on Friday, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Kuwaiti crude reached $60.36 per barrel yesterday, compared to $59.84 per barrel on Thursday, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

In global markets, oil prices rose to a two-year high, supported by the shutdown of the Keystone Pipeline, that connects Canada and US.

The rise in oil prices is also supported by the rising expectations of extending the OPEC production cut deal.
