Kuwait - Mubasher: The price of Kuwait oil went up by three cents on Friday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Saturday.
Kuwaiti crude oil registered $52.20 per barrel (pb) on Friday compared to $52.17 pb on Thursday, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
In global markets, there has been a rise in US shale oil output even though oil producing countries will eventually cut enough output to reduce a global glut, according to KUNA.
Brent crude rose 16 cents to $55.81 pb. Similarly, the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil increased by 4 cents, reaching $53.40 pb.
