The flight took off from John F. Kennedy International Airport via Kuwait Airways.

In response, Kuwait’s ambassador to the US, Salem Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah, stated that this phase was facilitated by various Kuwaiti entities in Kuwait and the US that exerted tremendous efforts in this regard.

The aforementioned phase will run for several days from the New York Airport ahead of the launch of direct flights from various airports across the US to bring Kuwaiti students home. Further details in this respect are to be announced soon, the ambassador added.
