Mubasher: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry increased subsidies in September by 50% compared to the previous month.
Subsidies amounted to KWD 22.2 million in September, compared with KWD 14.8 million in August, as shown by the ministry’s monthly report on Tuesday.
Basic materials dominated 55% of increased subsidies, due to increased support for baby formulas and nutrients, as well as wheat and bakeries.
