Kuwait records 2 new coronavirus cases; toll rises to 58

Mubasher: Kuwait's Ministry of Health on Thursday said that two new cases were diagnosed with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) after arriving from Iran last month, according to an official statement.     

This brings the total number of infected cases to 58 in the Gulf state. 

All patients are in a stable medical condition, except for two 70-year-old Kuwaiti women who suffer from chronic diseases and were referred to the intensive care unit as they struggle with acute pneumonia.
