Mubasher: Kuwait has cut its current oil production of 2.8 million barrels per day (bpd) by 133,000 bpd, according to the country’s Oil Minister Essam Al-Marzouk.
Kuwait is satisfied with current oil prices, Al-Marzouk told journalists on the sidelines of the Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum in Abu Dhabi.
The country will decrease its oil production by 130,000 bpd, as part of the OPEC’s agreement, sources from OPEC told Mubasher.
The OPEC agreed last November to reduce production by 1.2 million barrels per day (bpd) as of January 2017 to support oil market.
