Mubasher: Kuwait has recorded two new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections on Sunday, taking the total count to 64 in the country until the moment, according to an official statement by the Ministry of Health on Twitter.
One of the patients is a Kuwaiti female national who was amongst those who arrived from Iran, while the other is an Egyptian expat who had travelled to Azerbaijan via the UAE in a private visit and returned via the same route.
The Egyptian patient had not been to Egypt over the past six months, the statement added.
The health ministry further referred that the expat was sent to a quarantine centre as he arrived from a coronavirus hit country. Both patients are receiving adequate medical care at hospital.
