Mubasher: Kuwiat's Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) has signed an agreement with US-based Coca-Cola Company to distribute, import, market, and sell three new beverage brands in the GCC nation.
The deal was signed on 18 April, with the attendance of Coca-Cola Business Development manager in the Middle East region Hany Radwan and AAW’s CEO and chairman Faisal Ali Al Mutawa, according to a statement on Sunday.
“AAW is home to some of the world's leading consumer brands. We welcome The Coca-Cola Company to our state-of-the-art distribution operation and we look forward to working with them to introduce and grow their beverage portfolio in Kuwait,” Al Mutawa stated.
The agreement is a major step for AAW’s expansion plans, and the company was appointed previously as Coca-Cola’s exclusive distributor in Kuwait for beverage brands of ZICO, HONEST, and APPLITIZER.
AAW is operating in seven different business lines and distributing over 100 different global food and beverage brands including Hershey’s, Lindt, Storck, and others.
