Cairo – Mubasher: Alshaya Group, a Kuwaiti business founded in 1890, intends to purchase three-star and four-star hotels across Egypt, according to AlMal News.
The Kuwaiti group plans to start this investment in Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria, sources told AlMal.
This investment comes in line with the recovery of the tourism sector in Egypt, with a growth of 54% in the number of delegates in 2017.
Alshaya Group is currently planning for a meeting with the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels to operate Continental Hotel in Cairo.
