Kuwait-Mubasher: The Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK) denied the news spread in a local newspaper that CBK is obliged by court to pay an amount of KWD 44.05 million to The Investment Dar (TID).
The bank noted that verdicts have been issued but sets no obligation upon CBK to pay that sum of money to the Islamic finance organisation, according to a bourse statement.
The subject newspaper cited that a TID lawyer has informed his company that two verdicts have been issued favourably, obliging the Kuwaiti bank to repay the said amount.
