Mubasher: Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to develop aviation standards.
This agreement includes the adoption of IATA’s operational safety audit programme and safety audit for ground operations, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported citing DGCA’s director general Yousef Al-Fawzan as saying.
Under the MoU, the two parties aim to exchange experiences and practices in the aviation and safety field, Al-Fawzan added.
