Kuwait-Mubasher: Gulf Petroleum Investment (GPI) will hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Thursday, 14 January to consider a capital raise recommendation.
The company noted in a bourse statement that the capital will reach KWD 45.5 million from KWD 37.6 million, if the KWD 7.9 million boost is adopted by the EGM.
The capital hike should be carried out through issuing 79.6 million shares for 100 fils each without issuance premium.
If shareholders endorsed the suggestion, the paid-up and issued capital will be worth KWD 45.5 million, distributed on 445.7 million shares.
