Kuwait’s KNPC inks contract for $2.9bn LNG facilities

Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait National Petroleum Company signed Wednesday a contract for establishing facilities worth $2.9 billion for imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Al-Zour area.

The project, which is set to be finished within 57 months, will be executed by an alliance of South Korea’s Hyundai Construction, Hyundai Engineering and Korea Gas Corp.

Mohammad Ghazi Al-Mutairi, the company’s CEO, expected the project to be finished in the first quarter of 2021.
