Kuwait-Mubasher: The broad money supply (M2) has decreased by 2.4% in October to KWD 33.92 billion as compared to the previous month, according to data issued by Kuwait’s central bank.
Kuwaiti Dinar-deposit of private sector in local banks shrank 1.3% to KWD 29.093 billion, while foreign currency-deposits fell by 10.6% to KWD 3.436.2 billion. Thus, gross deposits reached KWD 32.529 billion in October.
Net foreign assets in local banks declined 1.6% to KWD 7.959 billion.
