Kuwait's Sanad profit hikes 200% in 2017

Mubasher: Sanad Holding Company (SANAD) on Thursday reported a 200.6% year-on-year surge in its profits during the full-year 2017.

Profits increased to KWD 1.11 million ($3.71 million) last year, compared to KWD 369,300 ($1.24 million) in 2016, according to the company’s statement to Boursa Kuwait.

The Kuwait-based company attributed the hike of profits to selling the company’s stake in a partner company.

The company's board recommended distributing no dividends for 2017.

Sanad's capital amounts to KWD 43.73 million divided into 437.3 million shares, at a par value of 100 fils per share.
