Kuwait’s UPAC posts higher profits in Q4

Kuwait-Mubasher: United Projects Company for Aviation Services (UPAC) achieved a 34.7% year-on-year growth in profits for the fourth quarter in 2015, according to an issued statement.

UPAC’s earnings reached KWD 1.9 million ($6.29 million) in Q4-15, compared to KWD 1.41 million ($4.67 million) in Q4-14.

The KSE-listed company reported KWD 6.75 million ($22.42 million) profits over the fiscal year 2015 as compared to KWD 5.66 million ($18.8 million) in FY14, an increase of 19.3%.

The board has recommended distributing 86% cash dividends or 86 fils per share.

It is noteworthy that UPAC stock ended Thursday’s trading session higher 3.03% to close at 680 fils, after 108,000 shares were traded with a value of nearly KWD 72,800.
