Kuwait’s credit growth increases 6.5% in November

Kuwait-Mubasher: The amount of credit granted by banks in Kuwait rose by 6.5% in November 2015 as compared to the same month of 2014, accounting for 86% of the overall credit amount in the banking sector, Kuwait News Agency cited a report issued by Kuwait Finance House (KFH).

KFH noted that the amount of personal loans grew in November 2015, while the real estate and construction sectors’ formed 72.3% of total granted credit, remaining unchanged for the third month in a row.

Meanwhile, consumer loans declined 1% in November, while installment loans increased to KWD 9.3 billion, added KFH’s report.
