Kuwait-Mubasher: Growth in credit granted by the banking sector in Kuwait accelerated 6.6% year-on-year, reaching its highest levels in October 2015, Kuwait Finance House said in a statement.
Credit facilities increased by KWD 692 million ($2.3 billion) in October to reach KWD 32.3 million ($106.6 billion) in September.
Amounting to KWD 13.39 billion ($43.89 billion), personal loans took the lion’s share of the facilities extended, noted KFH.
