Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil reached $18.24 a barrel on Tuesday, 14 April, down by 45 cents from $18.69 a barrel last Monday, according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation’s (KPC) official prices.
At the global level, crude prices tumbled to a two-week low by more than 10% as producer cuts fail to linger demand fears.
Meanwhile, the US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude dropped by $2.30 or 10.3% to settle at $20.11 per barrel (pb), whilst Brent futures fell by $2.14 or 6.7%, to $29.60 pb.
