Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil decreased by 94 cents to settle at $70.14 per barrel (pb), compared to $70.08 pb on Tuesday, according to the latest data by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Globally, oil prices fell earlier on Thursday against the backdrop of worries over an escalation in a trade row between the US and China.
On Thursday, US president Donald Trump lashed out China, which has the world's second-largest economy, saying it broke the agreement in the trade negotiations.
By 7:55 am GMT, the futures of Brent Crude oil for June decreased by 1.1% to $69.62 pb, while Nymex’s futures for the coming month deals levelled down 1.2%, reaching $61.40 pb.
