Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil rose 99 cents to settle at $71.60 per barrel (pb) on Wednesday, compared to $70.61 pb on Tuesday, according to the latest data by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Globally, oil went down at Wednesday’s settlement despite the drop in the US crude stockpiles.
US crude oil inventories fell by 1.4 million barrels to 455.2 million barrels in the week ended 12 April, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
