Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti crude oil decreased by 53 cents to settle at $70.18 per barrel (pb) on Monday, compared to $70.71 pb on Friday, according to the latest data by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
At the international level, oil prices diverged on Tuesday amid worries that an escalating China-US trade row could dent global economic growth.
In the same vein, the political dispute in Venezuela led to halting the South American country’s oil supplies after the Trump administration imposed sanctions against President Nicolás Maduro.
